This wine is made in the traditional method. Estate grown fruit was picked in two batches, early to add acid and then later to add fruit intensity. Aged on lees in the bottle for a minimum of 12 months gives this wine a flavour and complexity that is renowned in a Sparkling Rose. Being a 375ml bottle, this is a great choice to take for dinner or a treat at home.
The nose is of sweet summer red fruits, fragrant and very enticing.
The palate opens with a mouthful of red berries in a creamy foam. Quite delightful. The texture is light and the mousse very frothy and persistent. There is a real delicacy in the fruit flavours and the back palate is long a precisely balanced.
