  • ✨ Two in a row of #roséallday weather and typically beautiful matchy matchy Western Australian sunsets - pink as far as the eye can see!👁️✨✨Have you tried our Peel Estate Rose yet?!!? Pale salmon pink colour. Very French. 🇫🇷 The bouquet is delicate with strawberry and red currant aromas, fresh and alluring. The attack is soft and delicate. Fruit is under-stated, but delicious for it. The structure is light-bodied with a gentle fruitiness and a lovely balanced finish. 🥂🥂 This style just gets better and better at Peel. While this wine is labelled as “sec” it’s not a bone-jarring dryness but has a lilting fresh fruit character that gives an apparent sweetness to the palate.✨✨✨

Aged on lees in the bottle for a minimum of 12 months gives this wine a wonderful flavour and complexity that is not the sweet bubbles many might expect from Chenin. When i first started in the wine industry, i had romantic visions of me leaning casually over wine barrels, swirling and sipping the day away..... 🍷After i had dragged hoses 4700km and washed my 9584th stainless steel tank, I realised just how much blood, sweat and tears go into making a glorious drop of your favourite wine!!! .....🍾 ✨One lucky perk of the job however, is gathering with great friends, educating our palates, while discovering unusual varieties and flavours....
