Winery owner Will Nairn took a risk when he decided to stop farming Lucerne, Sheep and Cattle at his Karnup property and start a winery. His passion for wine along with the land being perfect for growing grape vines has seen Peel Estate Wines continue to grow.
Will’s wines are of a consistently high quality with a rich fruit intensity and just enough wood to add complexity and longevity. It is clear that his love of good wine has grown into a true love for winemaking.

Winemaker Mark joined Peel Estate during the vintage of 2006. He has over 20 years wine industry experience in both Australia and Europe, including a degree in viticulture. His propensity for quality raises the bar even higher for Peel Estate Wines.
Mark has also gained a reputation for his beautiful sparkling wines, and is solely responsible for making all of our Sparkling Wine at Peel, all made in the traditional method. Mark also makes sparkling wine for other wineries and his own label.
Stuart came to Peel Estate in 2008 after completing his degree in Viticulture. He has a great passion and interest for the wine industry and growing rich intense fruit that Peel Estate has become known for. Before joining the Peel Estate team Stuart ran his own successful landscape company.
Julie Edwards joined the Peel team in 2011. After many years in the hospitality, finance, HR and customer service sectors, she brings with her a varied amount of experience.
